Vital Series: Sticks

Vital Series: Sticks by Vir2 Instruments turns everyday objects into an expressive Kontakt percussion instrument. Its 80 stick-and-surface combinations range from steel brushes on cardboard to timpani mallets on wooden drawers and bamboo cajon sticks on sheet metal. These unconventional textures suit producers, songwriters and composers looking for distinctive rhythmic layers beyond a standard drum kit. Dry stereo recordings give you room to shape the ambience, while up to five velocity layers and 26 round robins add variation to repeated hits. Four playback engines let you layer sounds and patterns within a single patch, playing parts manually or building rhythms with the onboard sequencers. Adjust velocity, pitch and pan per step, then sculpt the results with seven effects, including compression, delay and reverb. NKS support provides hands-on control through compatible Komplete Kontrol and Maschine hardware.
