VP Brainiac II

VP Brainiac II is a VCA compressor plugin modeled after the rare Valley People Gain Brain II. It excels at fast transient grabbing on drums, vocals, and other dynamic sources, applying heavy gain reduction while preserving the low-end thanks to its peak reversion correction circuitry. The unique Release Mode switch toggles between linear and logarithmic response for more musical results. With faster attack and release times than any tube design, it handles transient-heavy material with ease. Its simple Gain, Ratio, Attack, Release, and Threshold controls make it easy to integrate into any modern recording or post-production setup. Ideal for hobby producers seeking aggressive, musical compression on drums and vocals without sacrificing punch.
