Wave Arts Dialog 2 is a voice-processing effect for cleaning and shaping spoken recordings on Windows. It brings noise cleanup, tonal correction and dynamics control into one plugin, making it useful for voice-over artists, podcast producers, dialogue editors and musicians working with speech.

Low- and high-pass brickwall filters remove unwanted frequency ranges, while dedicated hum and buzz processors tackle electrical interference. Hum removal targets ten harmonics of either 50 Hz or 60 Hz mains noise. Broadband noise reduction uses the MR Noise algorithm with streamlined controls, and separate de-plode and de-ess sections help reduce plosive thumps, wind rumble and sharp sibilance.

For tone and level adjustments, Dialog 2 includes a 10-band EQ with 11 filter types, a TrackPlug Vintage compressor with voice-focused presets, and a peak limiter. Section-specific presets let you set up individual processors without rebuilding the whole chain. Comprehensive metering, automation, latency compensation, mono or stereo operation, and support for sample rates up to 192 kHz round out a practical toolkit for spoken-word post-production.
