Wavegrove Vastaus v1.1.5 VST VST3 AU WiN Mac

Vastaus is a free high-frequency smoothing plugin that tames harshness on vocals, cymbals, guitars, and full mixes. It works on individual channels, buses, or the master bus, making it a versatile tool for hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic. At default settings with Input Gain and Tame at zero, it reduces overly bright or piercing frequencies, such as vocal sibilance. Increasing Tame deepens the effect, while the React switch adds transient detail and clarity. Bias limits processing to positive or negative samples for harmonic coloration. Input Gain boosts the signal into the processor, and Output Gain acts as a pad. Use the Wet knob to blend the processed and original signals. Vastaus is ideal for anyone seeking to smooth harsh highs without losing presence, and it can even serve as a leveling tool when combined with Bias.
