Weiss DS1-MK3

Softube Weiss DS1-MK3 brings precise mastering compression, limiting, and de-essing to your DAW. Built from a line-by-line port of the original Weiss hardware code, it focuses on transparent dynamics control rather than obvious coloration. Use it to manage peaks, refine a mix’s dynamic balance, or tame harsh sibilance while preserving the character of your audio. Its broad range of settings suits producers who want detailed control over their final masters, as well as mastering engineers seeking the familiar Weiss approach in software. The plug-in supports 32-bit/192 kHz processing and adds two advanced limiter algorithms alongside the original Weiss algorithm. Weiss MM-1 Mastering Maximizer, Weiss Deess, and Weiss Compressor/Limiter are also included, providing additional tools for focused dynamics tasks. For home-studio producers ready to explore meticulous mastering, DS1-MK3 offers a comprehensive, clean-sounding toolkit.
