Weiss DS5 Multiband Compressor (crossgrade from Weiss DS1-MK3)

The Weiss DS5 Multiband Compressor brings the legendary transparency of Weiss dynamics to five independent bands. A line-by-line code port of the DS1-MK3 runs on each band, giving you surgical control over specific frequency ranges. Macro controls and artist presets from Bob Katz, Jonathan Wyner, Maor Appelbaum, and Philippe Weiss make it easy to shape vocals, drums, mix busses, and full masters. Click the DS1 button to dive into each band’s full parameter set for deeper tweaking. Three crossover filter modes—Dynamic Phase, Static Phase, and Linear Phase—plus a safety limiter keep latency low and artifacts minimized. Ideal for mixing and mastering engineers who demand pristine, transparent compression across multiple bands, this plugin suits hobbyists and pros alike seeking the gold standard in dynamics, times five.
