WetReverb is a free VST3 plugin that recreates the sound of an 80s rack-style digital reverb. It outputs only the wet signal, so you can blend it with your dry track in your DAW for parallel processing or use it as a purely creative effect. The plugin runs at a 24 kHz internal sample rate with 12-bit quantization and TPDF dither, giving it a band-limited, gritty vintage character. Stereo crosstalk adds authentic left/right bleed, while program-dependent early reflections and HF damping shape the ambience. The Schroeder-style algorithm uses parallel comb filters with damping followed by series allpass diffusion. All parameters are automatable in major DAWs. It is aimed at hobby producers aged 25–55 in the US, UK, Germany, Canada and Australia who use FL Studio, Ableton Live or Logic on Windows and want a distinctive retro digital reverb for sound design or parallel mixing.
