Xoxos: Myrmidon Win [FREE]

Xoxos Myrmidon is a free unison synthesizer for Windows, built with SynthEdit and supplied as a 32-bit VST 2.4 plugin. It offers eight-voice polyphony, allowing you to play chords as well as single-note parts. Pitch and amplitude modulation are available for each oscillator, giving you a way to shape changes in tuning and level within a sound.

For hobby producers interested in exploring unison synthesis, Myrmidon provides a compact option for experimenting with oscillator modulation. Its per-oscillator controls make it relevant to users who want to explore how individual oscillator changes affect the combined sound. The listed download size is just 1.3 MB.

Compatibility is the main point to check before installing. Myrmidon requires a Windows host that can load 32-bit VST 2.4 instruments, either directly or through a compatible bridging setup. If you use FL Studio or Ableton Live, confirm your version’s support for older 32-bit plugins first. This Windows build is not a native option for Logic Pro.
