Zampler Expansion: Model 1978

Zampler Expansion: Model 1978 by Beat brings the unmistakable character of the Korg MS-20 to a collection of 64 bass and synth patches. With over 2 GB of sounds, this expansion focuses on the instrument’s bold personality: growling basses, assertive synth tones and the distinctive bite of its roaring filters. It’s a useful starting point for producers who want a bass part to command attention or a synth line to cut through a busy arrangement. There’s a gentler side here, too, with patches that show how smoothly this famously aggressive synth can behave. Try 017 BS Monster for its heavier character, then explore 057 SY Niceguy for contrast. Designed for Zampler users, Model 1978 suits hobby producers looking for ready-made MS-20 sounds without starting each patch from scratch.
