SSL E-Channel

The SSL E-Channel by Waves recreates the legendary SL 4000 E-series console channel strip, the first to combine EQ and dynamics in every channel. It features the iconic “black knob” EQ developed with George Martin, offering two shelf and two parametric bands plus dual filters for precise tonal shaping. The smooth, soft-knee compressor/limiter delivers punchy yet transparent dynamics, while internal sidechaining with switchable source adds flexibility. This plugin is ideal for hip hop and pop producers seeking that bright, clear SSL sound, but it suits any genre needing console-style warmth and control. Its CPU-efficient design makes it perfect for large multitrack sessions in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic. Whether you’re mixing vocals, drums, or full productions, the E-Channel brings classic analog workflow and character to your DAW.
