Neon Black | BA-1 Expansion Pack

Neon Black is a preset expansion for Baby Audio’s BA-1 synthesizer, created in collaboration with film composer Matt Bowdler (The Unfinished). It delivers 64 presets inspired by dark retro synth scores—think John Carpenter soundtracks, haunted mansions, and eerie visual effects. The collection is designed for producers seeking 1980s horror movie atmosphere with a modern edge. Use these sounds to add tension, nostalgia, or cinematic dread to electronic, ambient, or soundtrack work. Each preset is crafted to be immediately usable, whether you’re scoring a scene or building a track. Neon Black suits hobby music producers and composers working in genres like synthwave, dark ambient, or film music. It’s a gateway to classic horror textures without the hassle of programming from scratch. Perfect for anyone looking to inject a touch of unsettling, retro-futuristic character into their productions.
