MODO DRUM Kit – Extreme

MODO DRUM Kit – Extreme is an expansion for IK Multimedia’s physically modeled drum instrument, capturing the massive sound of ’80s and ’90s metal. This 8-piece beech shell kit features a 24″x18″ bass drum, toms (7″, 10″, 13″), floor toms (15″, 19″), and a 14″x5.5″ snare. Unlike sample-based libraries, MODO uses modal synthesis and advanced sampling to reproduce the kit’s materials, tuning, and dimensions with stunning realism. You get deep control over drum tuning, snare tension, stick type, and even the drummer’s performance style, letting you shape the kit to fit any mix. The Extreme kit delivers vintage-inspired tone with modern attack and projection, perfect for metal, hard rock, and any genre needing powerful, aggressive drums. It suits producers and composers who demand realistic, tweakable drums in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic.
