Arturia Comp TUBE-STA is a tube compressor plugin inspired by the Gates STA-Level, a broadcast and studio classic from the 1950s. Built with Arturia’s TAE modelling technology, it recreates the original hardware’s valve character and distinctive nonlinear attack and release behaviour. The result is forgiving dynamic control with harmonically rich warmth and subtle saturation, rather than a purely transparent finish.
