E-LUX is an optical tube compressor plugin that brings the lush, “expensive” character of high-end analog gear to your mixes. Using proprietary NM2 neural modeling, it recreates the smooth, musical compression of classic 5751 and 6922 dual triode vacuum tubes. You get two modes: a gentle 3:1 compression for transparent control and a firmer 10:1 limiting mode for peak taming. A built-in 80 Hz sidechain high-pass filter keeps your low end intact, while the Overdrive mode pushes the virtual iron transformers for extra harmonic richness. It excels on vocals, adding silky polish while retaining clarity, and works equally well on drums for glue without pumping, bass for buttery leveling, acoustic instruments for one-knob dynamics, and the mix bus for cohesive transparency.
