Iconica Sketch

Iconica Sketch is a compact orchestral instrument library from Steinberg that gives you a complete orchestra in a single intuitive interface. Built from the original Iconica recordings by Orchestral Tools, it includes 34 instruments — from solo violins and cellos to brass, woodwinds, and percussion — with 140 carefully chosen articulations covering essential short and long notes, including legatos. The samples have been re-mastered and mixed to deliver a balanced, high-quality orchestral sound while keeping the file size down to 4.6 GB and CPU usage light. It’s ideal for hobby producers and composers who want realistic orchestral textures for film, game, or pop productions without a massive hard drive footprint. Whether you’re sketching a cinematic theme or adding strings to a track, Iconica Sketch offers an accessible, performance-friendly starting point for orchestral writing in your DAW.
