Hollywood Strings 2 Crossgrade From Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra Bundle

Hollywood Strings 2 is a cinematic string library from EastWest Sounds, recorded as a tight 21-piece ensemble in the intimate space of EastWest Studio 2. Rather than chasing epic scale, it focuses on nuance and detail, offering essential articulations like legato, detache, pizzicato, staccato, spiccato, marcato, col legno, and flautando, each with up to four dynamic layers. The close-miking approach captures grit, depth, and air, with independent control over three close mic positions plus main, mid-field, and surround mics—and it’s Atmos-ready. The original production team of Doug Rogers, Nick Phoenix, and engineer Shawn Murphy returned to deliver clear, clean, dry recordings that adapt to any genre. With 134 meticulously crafted instruments, including playable trills and runs, it suits composers and producers seeking expressive, realistic strings for film, TV, and ambient music. This crossgrade is for owners of the Hollywood Fantasy Orchestra Bundle.
