Iconic

Iconic is a vintage synth collection from EastWest Sounds, created with Anthony Marinelli, the synth programmer behind Michael Jackson’s Thriller. It captures the actual sounds of classic songs using the original players and programmers, sampling rare synths like the ARP 2600, Minimoog Model D, Oberheim OB-X, Sequential Prophet 5, Yamaha CS-80, and Synclavier II. The plugin offers 138GB of content and hundreds of presets inspired by mega hits, with a single-page interface featuring an FX Pad with four macro effects, dual filters, a 16-step arpeggiator, portamento, and effects for widening, pulsing, distorting, delaying, and spatializing. Recorded in EastWest Studio 1 and processed through analog tape and re-amping, it delivers both authentic vintage tones and modern saturated textures. Ideal for pop, hip hop, and EDM producers seeking iconic synth sounds in one instrument.
