Session Bassist – Jam Bass

Session Bassist – Jam Bass from Native Instruments captures the character of a classic offset-body bass with dual passive single-coil pickups, delivering smooth lows, articulate mids, and punchy clarity. It combines two instruments: a pattern engine with 283 grooves and 71 songs, plus a melody instrument for solos and custom basslines. Articulations include fingerstyle, pick, slaps, and pops. You get pristine DI signals and premium mic capture, with Guitar Rig 7 Pro amps and effects for shaping tones from clean to overdriven. MIDI drag-and-drop lets you customize grooves in your DAW, and NKS integration with Light Guide helps you navigate key ranges and articulations. With 54 sound presets covering jazz, funk, rock, pop, and beyond, it suits hobby producers who want realistic bass performances without hiring a session player. Created with Big Wave Audio.
