Sound Like Around The Fur – Kontakt

Capture the unmistakable drum sound of Deftones’ Around The Fur with this premium Kontakt instrument. Built for producers chasing that revered 90s nu metal and shoegaze blend, it delivers a cranked snare and low, boomy kick that cut through dense mixes. The kit features a Yamaha Recording Custom kit, Dunnett Titanium snare, and Zildjian/Paiste cymbals, with articulations including open and dampened snares, cross stick, rimshot, toms, hats, crashes, ride, china, and splash. Four to five velocity layers and four round robins ensure natural, dynamic playing. A streamlined master section gives quick access to the overall sound, while deep customisation lets you shape every element—kick, snare, toms, and cymbals—and control each microphone channel. With four presets and multi-output routing, it’s ideal for hobby producers in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic seeking authentic 90s alternative metal drums.
