Soul Bass

Soul Bass by UVI is a deeply playable electric bass instrument built from exhaustive recordings of a vintage 1960s Fender Jazz Bass, capturing finger, pick, muted and slap styles with techniques like slides, hammer-ons and harmonics. A synth bass layer lets you double-track or blend in modern low-end weight, while amp models, effects and extensive tone-shaping controls let you dial in anything from stripped-back classic rigs to polished contemporary mixes. Choose from hand-crafted presets for instant studio-ready sounds, or use the hundreds of built-in patterns as song starters, transposing them in real time and dragging MIDI into your DAW. Performance modes, keyswitches and adjustable hand position give you expressive, realistic results. It suits hobby producers working across pop, hip-hop, rock, soul and electronic genres who want a versatile, inspiring bass partner, and pairs naturally with Soul Drums.
