Stacks

Stacks by Native Instruments is a Play Series instrument built for beatmakers who love the warm, dusty character of sample-based hip hop. It delivers over 150 presets spanning loose leads, off-kilter keys and organs, live bass, horns, strings, and vintage synths—all resampled through tape decks and hardware for authentic grit. The sound palette draws from 2000s-era crate-digging soul, blending funk, lo-fi textures, and organic left-field bass. Whether you’re crafting boom-bap beats, lo-fi hip hop, or experimental soul, Stacks gives you instant access to expressive, ready-to-play sounds with real-time control. It suits hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want that sampled, hardware-processed vibe without digging through crates. Part of the Play Series, it offers an intuitive interface and great-sounding presets that inspire creativity from the first note.
