TubEQ is an analog-style equalizer plugin that merges two classic EQ voices into one processor. Its low end models the passive Pultec EQP-1A circuit, letting you boost and cut simultaneously for weighty, clear bass at 30, 60, or 100 Hz. Mid and high bands draw from the Maag EQ4M, with fixed points at 160 Hz, 650 Hz, and 2.5 kHz, plus a sweepable Air band from 2.5 kHz to 40 kHz for open, sparkling highs. A modeled 12AX7 tube stage adds harmonic warmth and natural saturation, with input drive and level controls for shaping character. Auto makeup gain keeps levels consistent, and a 24.5 kHz brickwall lowpass prevents aliasing.
