Metal Mayhem Vol 2

Metal Mayhem Vol. 2 from Quantum DSP is a hybrid impulse response expansion built for modern metal producers chasing heavier, tighter, lower tones. It delivers 35 mix-ready IRs designed to keep extended-range guitars controlled and punishing under extreme gain. The low end stays focused even in drop tunings, while razor-defined mids cut through dense layered mixes so your riffs dominate instead of disappearing. Fast alternate picking, syncopated breakdowns, and complex chord voicings remain articulate thanks to top-end clarity that holds up at high speed. Dialed for impact with no mic overload or endless tweaking, these curated tones sit exactly where modern metal lives. Use them with your favorite plugins, modelers, or a tube amp with reactive load, on 6-, 7-, or 8-string guitars, in the studio or on stage. Ideal for hobby producers crafting brutal, surgical metal tones.
