Prophet~5

The Prophet~5 plugin is the first official software recreation of Dave Smith’s legendary 1978 five-voice analogue synthesizer, developed by GForce Software in collaboration with Sequential. It faithfully models the Rev1, Rev2 and Rev3 circuitry, capturing the warmth of the SSM filters and the punch of the Curtis design. All original hardware functionality is included, along with the 38 factory presets from 1978 and over 420 modern patches. Beyond authenticity, it adds modern expression: GForce’s redesigned X-Modifiers give nearly every parameter its own envelope and LFO, while two independent layers with Layer, Split and Alternate modes, plus per-layer arpeggiator and chord mode, let you build rich, evolving textures. Ideal for producers and sound designers seeking classic analogue tone with contemporary flexibility, it suits genres from electronic and pop to film scoring and sound design.
