Aegean Drums

Aegean Drums brings the raw, organic sound of Mediterranean hand percussion to your DAW. Built from human performances by world percussionist Stefanos Athinaios, it features bendir, daf, darbuka, davul, and riq with multiple articulations, dynamic layers, and round robins for a natural feel. The 85 curated presets cover full kits, hybrid kits, pitched percussion, trailer hits, dark pulses, swells, tails, and FX, while 123 MIDI files span cinematic, trailer, game, ritual, electronic, house, and traditional rhythms. Recorded with dynamic and stereo condenser microphones, it delivers close punch and wide organic character. Ideal for film scoring, trailer percussion, game music, or adding rhythmic layers to electronic tracks, Aegean Drums suits hobby producers and composers seeking authentic Mediterranean textures. Runs in the free Raizes Player as VST3, AU, AAX, or Standalone.
