Blackboard EQ by CalPochi turns equalization into a drawing exercise—literally. Sketch your curve directly on screen and hear it instantly, with up to 24 bands offering eight filter types, slopes from 12 to 96 dB/oct, and per-band routing to Stereo, Left, Right, Mid, or Side. Each band can become a dynamic EQ with threshold, range, attack, and release, so harshness or muddiness gets tamed only when it appears. Add saturation with drive and character to selected frequency ranges for texture and colour. Zero Latency mode keeps everyday mixing responsive, while Linear Phase mode with optional brickwall filters and oversampling suits precise mastering work. Alt-drag any node to audition that band solo, and right-click to leave chalk notes explaining your moves. Ideal for hobby producers on FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want visual feedback and surgical control without over-processing. Your annotations stay with the session, even when switching presets or comparing A/B.
