Secco

Secco is a transient envelope shaper for drums, percussion and loops, designed to tighten hits and control brightness in real time. Each hit gets independent amplitude and filter envelopes with adjustable length, hold and soften, plus a resonant low-pass and low cut. Four trigger sources—transient detection, host-synced grid, audio sidechain or MIDI—let you shape exactly what you want. Chance mutes hits for breathing variation, Spread pans survivors across the stereo field, and Expression maps velocity or sidechain to envelope controls for playable dynamics. Real-time swing adds groove, while linked envelope lengths keep ratios intact. Perfect for producers who want punchy, plucky drums without a sequencer or preset browser. Ideal for electronic, hip-hop and any genre needing tight, controlled transients.
