Probe is a free analyzer plugin that verifies its own measurements before showing you results. Instead of drawing a curve and leaving you to guess its accuracy, it calibrates itself and clearly marks the detection limit for each reading, so you see “below detection limit” rather than a fabricated number. It covers linear magnitude and phase response, harmonic distortion and aliasing (kept separate), Hammerstein kernels, SMPTE IMD, dynamics with attack/release and static curve, impulse response with RT60, an oscilloscope with transfer view, CPU load, and seven correctness checks. You get two chains of six slots, an A−B null test, and curves that update as you adjust parameters. Nine screens are switched from the window header, each with its own modes. It runs as VST3, AU, and standalone on Windows and macOS. This is aimed at hobby producers and engineers who want trustworthy analysis without paying for a commercial tool, and who work in FL Studio, Ableton Live, or Logic Pro.
