Automathico is a free MIDI note generator plugin for Windows that builds patterns from looped mathematical calculations. It features six sequencers: two for the main base (stable enharmonic and chord), and four for pitch and velocity, allowing two different patterns to follow the same structure. Each sequencer uses a sample-and-hold loop with waveshaping, parabolic functions, and math algorithms like sine, tanh, power, and square root. You also get a small knob-automation recorder, a rhythmic section, and a dedicated LFO per sequencer for modulation. The arp-mode assigns pitch and velocity values to four MIDI note generators based on the pitch sequencer’s position, and each can send on a different MIDI channel, so you can drive multiple VSTi or hardware synths. It suits hobby producers using FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic who want evolving, generative MIDI patterns without complex setup.
