Dixon Beats DB1 VST VST3 AU WiN Mac

DB1 is a free virtual instrument from Dixon Beats that recreates the character of the classic Casio SK-1 sampling keyboard from 1985. It includes 32 presets covering the original SK-1 sounds plus additional tones, all wrapped in an interface that mirrors the sliders and buttons of the 1980s hardware with a modern update. Beyond preset playback, DB1 offers sound design tools such as a filter, ADSR envelope, EQ, and convolution reverb, so you can shape the raw lo-fi tones into your own patches. It runs as a VST, VST3, and AU plugin on Windows and Mac, making it compatible with FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, and other major DAWs. The plugin is aimed at hobby producers and beatmakers who want quick access to nostalgic, toy-like keyboard sounds without spending money. Whether you are making lo-fi hip-hop, experimental electronic music, or just need a distinctive lead or chord stab, DB1 provides an affordable way to add vintage Casio flavor to your tracks.
