June-21 is a free 64-bit VST plugin for Windows that emulates the Roland Juno-1, Juno-2, and MKS-50 synthesizers. It can load and play original Juno/MKS-50 preset files, including the Juno-2 factory ‘Preset’ and ‘Memory’ banks, and supports .SYX bulk dumps that you can find online. The interface is inspired by the Roland PG-300 programmer, giving you a familiar layout for editing tones. This plugin is aimed at hobby producers and fans of classic Roland synth sounds who want to add those characteristic tones to their tracks. Keep in mind that June-21 is still in development and not a perfect emulation: some tones may sound far from the original or not work at all, while others can be very accurate and pleasing. Also, certain features like portamento, chord memory, octave transpose, and aftertouch are not implemented. It runs on Windows as a VST plugin and is compatible with popular DAWs like FL Studio, Ableton Live, and Logic (via wrapper).
