Positive Grid BIAS FX 2 Elite is a guitar amp and effects processor for building customizable electric guitar, bass and acoustic guitar rigs on Windows. Its selection of classic and modern amplifier tones and effects suits home producers and players who want to shape recorded parts, practice with different sounds or jam without opening a DAW.
Use the standalone application for a self-contained playing setup, or load the VST3 or AAX plugin in a compatible host. FL Studio and Ableton Live users can integrate it into their Windows recording workflows. The standalone Toolbox brings together the looper, tuner, pedalboard view, help and a metronome for practice sessions. The plugin version does not include the looper or tuner.
Version 2.3.0.6070 adds an edited-preset indicator and includes fixes for VST3 MIDI operation and settings recall in Studio One. Listed Windows requirements start at Windows 8, 4 GB RAM and a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. An internet connection is needed for license activation and ToneCloud access; offline use is available after activation.
