Imaginando K7D is a tape delay effect for producers who want warm repeats with adjustable grit, movement and stereo space. It suits hobby music makers adding echoes to vocals, synths, guitars or drums, with controls that go beyond a basic vintage-style delay.

Two modeled playback heads cover delay times from 1 ms to one second. Tape noise, distortion and mechanical vibration modeling introduce analog-style imperfections, while input preamp saturation adds extra color. Choose Normal or Ping Pong operation, adjust the timing spread between heads, and set the stereo width to shape how repeats sit in your mix.

High-pass and low-pass filters in the feedback path let you trim the lows and highs of the echoes. For moving textures, a bipolar LFO modulates delay time using several waveforms, including sample-and-hold options. Inverting its phase on the second head creates additional stereo variation.

K7D also supports tempo-synced delay timing and delay-time modulation from incoming MIDI notes. An oscilloscope displays audio and LFO waveforms, giving you visual feedback while adjusting the effect. This version is for Windows.
