Toontrack Latin Cuban Percussion EZX is a sampled percussion expansion for EZdrummer 2 and Superior Drummer 3. It brings together congas, timbales, bongos, guiros, shakers, woodblocks, cowbells and other instruments associated with Latin music. For home producers building Cuban-inspired rhythms or adding percussion accents to a drum arrangement, it provides a focused collection of sounds within Toontrack’s drum instruments.
The sessions took place at Sear Sound Studios in New York, with percussionist Richie Flores performing the samples and Grammy Award-winning engineer Dave Kowalski handling the recording. That combination gives the library a clear musical foundation: instruments selected and played by an experienced Latin percussionist, captured in a professional studio setting.
