reFuse Flipper is a free polarity-inversion utility for producers who want a quicker way to check signal polarity while mixing. It reverses the waveform’s positive and negative values—a polarity flip, rather than a time-based phase adjustment.
The workflow is deliberately simple: enable Flipper to invert polarity, or bypass it to leave polarity unchanged. There are no parameters to set or switches inside the interface to keep track of. Once it is inserted on a track, your DAW’s plug-in bypass control becomes the polarity toggle, allowing comparisons from the mixer without reopening the plug-in window.
Flipper suits home-studio musicians and mixing enthusiasts whose DAW mixer lacks a readily accessible polarity button. It is useful when you want to compare how signals combine without loading a more complex processor just for one switch.
Windows support starts at Windows 7, with VST3 and AAX formats. On macOS 10.11 or later, VST3, AAX and Audio Unit are supported. A 64-bit DAW is required; no 32-bit version is available.
