Eclipsis by zOne.sk is a free hybrid wavetable synthesizer for Windows producers who enjoy building patches from scratch. Its three independent oscillators combine waveshape selection with frequency modulation and subtractive processing, giving hobbyists plenty of control over layered tones, moving textures and rhythmic sequences.

Each oscillator includes its own envelope, tuning, phase, pan and level settings. Start with 118 waveshapes, then use the shaping tools to explore further variations. Six LFOs feed a modulation matrix with nine sources and 39 destinations, while up to 32 voices and portamento support both polyphonic playing and gliding parts.

For pattern-based sound design, the Arp/Gate section offers 4–32 steps, multiple playback directions and pattern randomization. Two effects racks provide reverb, chorus/flanger and host-synced delay. Preset randomization and section-level preset saving make it easier to experiment without rebuilding every part of a sound.

Eclipsis v1.0 is a 32-bit Windows VST 2.4 plugin, so check host compatibility before installing; some setups require bridging. Keep its supplied subfolders alongside eclipsis.dll so the section presets remain accessible.
