SKnote MetaVocals is a vocal pitch-correction and harmonising effect for producers who want to tidy up recordings or turn a lead vocal into something more experimental. Available as a Windows VST2 plugin, it suits hobby music makers working in compatible hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live.

Its real-time tuning engine follows the incoming pitch and adjusts intonation according to your settings, allowing smooth, natural-sounding corrections. For more detailed work, MetaVocals can output a vocal track as MIDI events for editing in your DAW’s piano roll. MIDI playback then lets you control tuning, doubling and harmonies without moving to a separate editing application.

Two extra voices can sit above or below the original vocal at semitone intervals, with MIDI control available when the arrangement needs changes. Grouping plugin instances helps coordinate settings across a song, including key changes.

Beyond corrective processing, synthesizer mode turns the incoming voice into a synthetic sound. Vocoder mode uses the vocal’s spectral shape to influence that sound’s timbre, including any added harmony voices.
