Rather than programming every note by hand, you guide the results through a visual Harmonic Table layout and semi-random routing. Patterns develop from your input, offering a practical starting point when you want fresh musical ideas or a different approach to sequencing.

Hexcel is designed to send MIDI to a synth that accepts MIDI input, so it provides the note patterns rather than the sound itself. This makes it useful for hobby producers who enjoy experimenting with their existing instruments and hearing how changing a sequence can reshape a track. The included library contains 75 factory presets spanning eight popular genres, giving you examples to explore before creating your own patterns.
