TBProAudio Impress is a wideband stereo compressor for Windows, designed for producers who need dynamics control across individual tracks, instrument buses and mastering sessions. It can gently reshape a snare, bring grouped instruments together or handle more targeted jobs such as de-essing and voice-over processing.

Side-chaining and a choice of prefilter options let you tailor how the compressor responds to incoming audio. Oversampling supports the plugin’s focus on keeping aliasing low, making Impress a practical option for both subtle compression and more involved mixing tasks.

Version 3.2.3 adds compressor attack delay, a peak-level matching option within loudness matching, and the ability to pause the level display. These updates expand the available timing controls and offer additional ways to compare and inspect levels while adjusting compression.

Impress suits hobby producers working in compatible Windows hosts such as FL Studio and Ableton Live. It is supplied in VST2, VST3 and CLAP formats for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems, with AAX also available in 64-bit.
