Synapse Audio The Legend HZ v2.0 CE-V.R

Synapse Audio The Legend HZ is an analog-modeling synthesizer developed with Hans Zimmer for producers and composers who want cinematic sounds alongside flexible sound-design tools. Building on the original The Legend, it adds three oscillators, an extra polyphony setting, and a broader set of modulation and effects options.

A modulation matrix lets you connect control sources to sound parameters, while an MSEG provides additional ways to shape modulation over time. The 32-step sequencer supports repeating musical patterns, making it useful for producers who enjoy building movement into their synth parts. An expanded effects section offers further processing within the instrument.

One distinctive addition is a fixed filter bank modeled on Zimmer’s own vintage 914 hardware. The included bank of 200 factory presets, created jointly by Hans Zimmer and sound designer Kevin Schroeder, provides cinematic starting points to play, explore, and customize.

This Windows synth suits hobby producers, soundtrack writers, and electronic musicians looking to move between ready-made patches and deeper analog-style programming.
