OhmForce Quad Frohmage is a four-band filter effect for producers who want to reshape vocals, drums and percussion with distortion, rhythmic movement and flexible routing. Each band includes a tempo-syncable delay, panning, filtering and distortion, alongside controls for cutoff, resonance, fatness, colour and damping. The four bands can be connected in different configurations to create layered processing before the final output stage.
Its eight filter types cover familiar low-pass, high-pass, band-pass, peak and notch responses, plus comb filtering, ring modulation and a Moog-style option. That range makes it useful for both straightforward tonal changes and more unusual sound design.
Modulation is a central part of Quad Frohmage. Every parameter has access to an advanced LFO, an envelope follower and an xADSR module, with MIDI velocity and pitch available for triggering. Time-based controls can follow your project tempo, and modulation can be applied to up to three parameters at once. It suits hobby producers looking to turn static sounds into shifting textures or give drum loops a more animated character.
