Vintage VI

Vintage VI by Big Fish Audio is a multisampled virtual instrument collection built around the character of 1960s and 1970s recordings. Its drums, keyboards, basses, guitars and electric sitar bring a retro palette to rock, soul, R&B, funk, country and jazz productions. Rather than chasing polished perfection, the collection highlights instruments with distinctive tone, from collectible classics to battered finds. Drum kits sound open and lively, with ringing snares and resonant toms left untamed by gates or compression. Keyboards were captured both clean and through vintage amplifiers, covering familiar warmth and rougher, more unruly textures. Bass and guitar sounds draw on a range of period styles, while the electric sitar adds a psychedelic accent. It suits producers and songwriters who want expressive, characterful instrument sounds for retro arrangements or vintage touches in modern tracks.
