Glass by Murst Instruments is a Kontakt Player instrument built for producers who want evolving, looped textures without the usual sample-library clutter. Four separate instruments—Swell, Tape, Resonance, and Glitch—each offer 16 selectable sound sources, drawing from analogue basses and pads, studio-recorded acoustic strings and woodwinds, deep modular synths, and granular-processed sound design. Swell stretches acoustic instruments into long, shifting forms; Tape runs material through a Uher monitor and Roland Space Echo for warm, saturated delay; Resonance mimics the vibration of tubes, drum skins, and strings; Glitch mangles acoustic and digital waveforms into something new. Use them for ambient beds, cinematic underscores, lo-fi beats, or experimental electronic tracks. Front-panel controls cover volume, envelopes, and FX sends, with buttons revealing deeper filter modulation. A layered keyboard lets you play all four banks at once, and 40 preset snapshots get you started fast. It suits hobby producers exploring texture and atmosphere in FL Studio, Ableton, or Logic. Note: MPE is not supported.
