XILS V+ by XILS Lab brings vintage vocoder textures, string-machine tones and synthetic human voices into one playable instrument. Its 10-band vocoder sits alongside dedicated strings and voice sections, letting you use each sound separately or blend them into rich, retro layers. A modelled Top Octave Divider oscillator delivers the distinctive character of classic hardware, with up to 49 voices of polyphony. It suits producers building nostalgic synth-pop arrangements, electronic soundtracks or atmospheric tracks that need something more characterful than a conventional pad. Stereo spatial processing, reverb and an analogue-style resonant phaser help shape the finish, while a special glide function and pitch tracker add expressive possibilities. For deeper sound design, six assignable modulation nodes and access to parameters hidden inside the original hardware expand your options. MIDI control of every parameter makes it easy to add movement to performances.
