Suspended Cymbals

Wavesfactory Suspended Cymbals is a Kontakt instrument built around five sampled crash cymbals: three Zildjian models, one Paiste and one Istanbul. Sustains, bell and edge articulations, effects, and mod-wheel-controlled rolls give you options for accents, swelling transitions and expressive percussion parts. Rather than working around a fixed roll length, you can shape its intensity as your track develops. Three microphone perspectives—close, mid and far—let you blend direct detail with room ambience, while individual volume, pan and pitch controls help each cymbal fit your arrangement. The onboard mixer includes channel effects, stereo width adjustment and separate output routing for further processing in your DAW. Four true round-robin repetitions add variation, with adjustable velocity response, dynamics and envelopes for finer control. It suits producers and composers who want playable cymbal textures for cinematic builds, atmospheric passages or realistic percussion arrangements.
