Harmonix

Harmonix by Wavesfactory is a Kontakt instrument dedicated to the clear, ringing sound of electric guitar, acoustic guitar and bass harmonics. Built from a Gibson E-335, Alhambra A3 and Fender Jazz Bass, it gives hobby producers three distinct tonal colours for delicate melodies, layered backgrounds and evolving textures. Blend the instruments in a dedicated mixer, adjust their stereo width or route them to separate DAW outputs for further processing. Per-channel effects include EQ, compression, modulation, saturation, amp simulation and both algorithmic and convolution reverb. A sequencer/arpeggiator with seven presets helps turn simple notes into rhythmic patterns, with separate tables for each instrument or unified playback. Four true round-robin repetitions and adjustable velocity response offer control over repeated notes and playing dynamics. Harmonix requires the full version of Kontakt 5.7.3 or later; the free Kontakt Player runs it in demo mode only.
