Retro Keys 1

Wavesfactory Retro Keys 1 brings three distinctive 1970s keyboards into a collection of sampled instruments: the Crumar Compac, Crumar Orchestrator and Elka Organ X-55. Explore electric piano, honky-tonk and clavichord tones alongside string-machine textures, brass, bass and clonewheel organ sounds. Faithful recreations of the original instruments’ character and controls make it a natural fit for retro pop, funk, soundtrack work or adding vintage colour to modern productions. Shape each part with EQ, compression, modulation, saturation, amp simulation and algorithmic or convolution reverb, including more than 40 custom impulse responses. Adjustable velocity response, dynamic range and vintage noise help tailor the playing feel, while neighbour borrowing provides an optional round-robin effect. It suits producers and keyboard players looking for a varied palette of period keyboard sounds with flexible onboard processing.
