Charakter Piano Collection

Charakter Piano Collection by Cinematique Instruments brings together six distinctive piano voices, ranging from hushed, delicate textures to bright upright tones and rough vintage character. Curbed Piano uses fabric or felt between the hammers and strings for a damped, warm sound with pronounced hammer detail, plus reverse sounds and stuttering sustain. Intimate Piano captures gently played notes with an unusual floor-level recording perspective, while Intimate+ adds adjustable hammer volume, decay and tone alongside reverse layers. Practice Piano delivers a raw, lively sound, with a “granny” option for a dirtier, aged Yamaha flavour. Upright Piano offers a clear, warm studio piano with straightforward editing, and Soundboard Piano rounds out the collection. Suited to producers and composers seeking personality rather than polished uniformity, this piano instrument collection offers useful colours for intimate arrangements, contemporary tracks and atmospheric writing.
