Cassette Toy Piano – Multi-Format Bundle

Cassette Toy Piano by THEPHONOLOOP turns a children’s toy piano into five characterful sampled instruments, ranging from raw cassette recordings to more unusual textures shaped with spring reverb and granular processing. Two cassette decks provide contrasting flavours: one relatively clean, the other noticeably degraded and lo-fi. Three dynamic layers preserve expressive playing, while carefully denoised samples and a separate noise control let you balance musical detail with tape character. The bundle includes 1,112 samples in 24-bit WAV format, with versions for Kontakt 5, Ableton Live 9, Logic and SFZ. Simulated round robin is available in Kontakt and SFZ, while Kontakt also offers custom spring, hall and corridor reverb impulses. Suited to producers who enjoy imperfect vintage tones, this collection brings delicate melodies, unsettling accents and nostalgic colour to lo-fi beats, ambient tracks and cinematic arrangements.
