Pre X7

Audiority Pre X7 brings vintage tube preamp character to bass guitar and other audio sources. Inspired by a classic bass-focused hardware design, this analog-modelled effect uses real-time 12AX7 tube models at both the input and output stages to add subtle nonlinear colour or more assertive distortion. Shape the signal with a four-step low-cut filter, switchable before or after the input tube, then adjust the Baxandall tone control before it reaches the output tubes. Input/output linking, Boost, Pad and Phase switches provide additional control, while a brickwall clipping limiter helps keep extreme settings in check without losing their distorted edge. Pre X7 suits hobby producers who want to explore tube saturation on bass and experiment with tonal character across other tracks, from gentle coloration to driven textures.
